SCOTT CAMPBELL STUDIO
THE RENAISSANCE MAN.
About
When it comes to the world of fine art, some would call Scott Campbell a Renaissance man. He began his career as a tattoo artist at Picture Machine, one of the oldest tattoo shops in California, and eventually opened his own establishment—serving celebrity clients like Marc Jacobs and Orlando Bloom. Campbell subsequently exploded onto the New York art scene with work that leverages a variety of unexpected mediums, like eggs shells and U.S. currency. GARDE wanted to do Campbell’s work justice by capturing the notoriety and showmanship of Always Almost There, an exhibition that features laser etched multi-layered creations.
